Our core text was The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson.

The children enjoyed all the activities we created around this classic book.

Sticking and Gluing

We cut out the template for The Gruffalo masks. The children created one each.

Mark Making

We focused on vocabulary building, the children described the character and made marks.

We extended their learning by making Gruffalo Pizza.

They enjoyed cutting the the peppers!

Dressing the Pizza

We dressed the pizza up, ready for the oven.

Baking

Mm-mm, it is ready.

Sharing and Eating.

We all enjoyed sharing The Gruffalo Pizza.
